True to her word, Daisy finds somewhere not too far from his place that makes nachos that are not only large, but also are the works. When she sees she can get an extra-large portion, she orders two for him and then gets a regular sized one for herself. There's cheese, meat, a decent amount of peppers, beans, you name it - it's on there. It gets her an odd look or two as she's on her way to his place and even a few envious stares because of the way the scent of them is wafting in the air, but it makes her pull everything closer to her.
She was in luck it wasn't far away because the chips they make in-house won't get soggy from all the toppings and they should still be fresh and have the right amount of crunch. Other than enjoying that she can come through for him like this, that she happens to be not only in the area - in a city she knows pretty well thanks to growing up in New York in the first place - and within cell service range that she got his text in the first place, it's one of those things where she's saying it without words, that she likes him. He's more than some old guy she's worked with a little and she likes to bug when he's trying to blend in with the nearest wall.
When the knock on his door comes it's quieter than it would be if her hands were free because she's trying to do it with her elbow and that leads her to try again a moment later with her boot-clad foot against the lower half of the door.
"Hey Barnes, your DaisyDash delivery is here if you want to open up before these nachos get cold!"
